Twerking activates the root and sacral chakras bringing clear energy flow to these parts of the body and the associated aspects of our lives.

We will consciously root into the earth, center our entire being, move stuck emotions, embrace our sexuality, and embody pleasure. When our root chakra is balanced we feel connected to Mother Earth in a grounding and thriving way. A flowing sacral energy center influences us to love all aspects of ourself and to creatively design our life. Twerking traces back to West Africa and was known as the Mapouka Dance. It was a celebratory dance of joy and was widely accepted because people believed that this dance led to encounters with God.
