Mixed Aerial Series

Beginners/Intermediates!

Come explore lyra, hammock and cube in a fun & supported outdoor environment in Truckee. We’ll begin with connecting to the earth, ourselves and each other while also tapping into our inner child. Meditation, intention setting, yoga and dance movement will set the foundation before we take flight. Participants will learn basic skills on each apparatus and will have the opportunity to express their own unique creative flow by the end of the series. Increase your your strength, flexibility & grace in your body & mind. There will be sprinkles of spirituality & sexuality to activate your inner radiance as we connect to the elements of nature. Feel empowered and joyful to shine your light through the art of aerials!

*There are no refunds unless I am able to fill your spot. If you know you are not able to attend the whole series, please contact me and I’ll see if I can fit you in as a drop-in. There is priority for those who want to do the entire series and there are limited spaces. If you miss a class, you are invited to attend an aerial arts jam to practice your skills but I will not be teaching during this time. Aerial Jams are usually Wednesdays after class or Sunday afternoons and are subject to change. If a class is cancelled due to weather, smoke, etc then it will be rescheduled at a date/time that works best for the majority of the participants.

“Saying yes to taking this aerial series, led by Renee, was the catalyst to be with deeper parts of myself that are needing tending. As a mother to two small children (2 and a half and 7 months old) challenging myself in a very physical way, in a movement that intuitively I know I can do, but logically feels like “ I should” do other things first to heal my body post birth, is extremely rewarding. Working through the narrative that I am not strong enough, or my body is still too soft, or it will be easier when my weight drops, is very informative of the constructs in place around women’s bodies and motherhood.
