Breath of Fire

Ignite your Inner Passion!

A powerful way to move stagnant energy in the body, increasing your positivity and endurance throughout your day. It is great for your circulatory & respiratory systems, wakes you up, and is a natural source of energy.


Connect into something that you would like to release. (anger, frustration, etc)  

What passion/spark would you like to ignite within you?


Focusing on the Solar Plexus Chakra located above the navel.  Associated with the element of fire. Tapping into your confidence, radiance, power, self-esteem, and transformation.


Breathing in through the nostrils, mouth closed.  Emphasize is on the exhale, inhale happens naturally.  Imagine blowing out candles, there is some force on the exhale.  Diaphragm goes in and up on the exhale.  


Start in Mountain Pose- feet about hip or shoulder distance apart, relax shoulders, chin parallel to the earth.  


When you feel like you want to give up, keeping going.  Usually our mind wants to give up but our body is capable of continuing.  


Stop breath of fire and take a deep inhale holding at the top.  Squeeze your fists, engage your legs & core, tighten your whole body, and exhale let it all go.  Shake your whole body, release!  


Come into stillness- notice if there are any differences in your body.  Feeling your energy flowing and blood circulating. If you ever feel dizzy during this practice, come down to the earth and breath.


Hands on shoulders.  Inhale to the left, exhale to the right, through the nostrils. Moving from the base of the spine, tuck your belly in so you are using the strength of your core to move.  Tapping into your power, endurance, and confidence.  Move with intention, ground your feet into the earth.  Release it all out as you lower your arms to your sides and shake it out!


Lift your arms to the sky into a V shape, close fists, thumbs pointing towards each other. Same as first breath of fire practice. Imagine blowing away anything that’s in your way of your aligned truth. Take a deep inhale as you lower the arms to your sides. Take a little more air in, close your fists, and tighten your whole body.  On a exhale, let that shit go, completely release!


Come into stillness as you close your eyes.  Feel into your power and how you can consciously breath while increasing the energy in your body.  Notice how you feel in this moment.  Place your hands on your solar plexus above your navel.  Tune into your inner fire.  Realizing that you can do these practices at any moment of your day when you would like to release anger, frustration, etc and increase positivity & energy!
